P. Rami Reddy Memorial College of Pharmacy was founded on 4th September 1997 by Sree Saraswathi Educational Society, Kadapa, in memory of its beloved patron Shri P. Rami Reddy. The college was established with a vision to provide quality pharmaceutical education to the students of Rayalaseema and to meet the demand for trained pharmaceutical professionals in Andhra Pradesh. From a modest beginning with the B.Pharm program and an intake of 60 seats, PRRMCP has grown into a full-fledged pharmacy institution offering 8 programs including Pharm.D, Pharm.D (PB), and four specialisations under M.Pharm. The institution has been granted autonomous status and consistently produces graduates who serve in leading pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and research organisations across India and abroad.

I still remember my first day at PRRMCP. Hailing from a middle-class family, my biggest dream was to get a good job. The faculty here, especially our HOD sir and lab assistants, have been incredibly supportive. The practical labs are well-equipped, which gave me a lot of confidence during interviews. Thanks to the placement cell, I got selected in a top Pharma MNC in Hyderabad. The discipline and values they teach here along with academics are what makes this college the best in Kadapa.

We are from a rural village in the Rayalaseema region, and sending our daughter to a city for higher education was a big decision for us. But after admitting her to P. Rami Reddy Memorial College of Pharmacy, all our fears vanished. The management is very approachable, and the faculty takes personal care of every student like their own children. The college emphasizes not just studies but also safety and good character. Today she is pursuing her M.Pharm, and it is a very proud moment for our entire family.
