• The Department of Pharmacognosy has a distinctive role in the essential field of drug research and carries out studies on the physical, chemical, biochemical and biological properties of drugs and drug substances of natural origin

• Production of High yield Banana (Musa acuminata) plants by Plant tissue culture method. Regard this Biotech project team visited A.P. Horticulture research station, Kovur and Sri Sai Soma Biotech, Guntur
